Agenda Title:

Authorize Mayor and Finance Officer to Sign an Agreement between the City of Rapid City and T-REX Investments II, LLC, for Robbinsdale Park Detention Pond Drainage Improvements Oversize Reimbursement, not to exceed $91,254.20.

Summary:

An agreement for oversize cost reimbursement to T-REX Investments II, LLC, to increase stormwater detention capacity, install water quality detention, treatment and metering improvements and to reconstruct portions of the stormwater outfall piping in the existing Robbinsdale Park Detention Pond in Section 7, T1N, R8E, BHM, Pennington County, Rapid City SD. The proposed construction and installation of the identified improvements will increase the capacity of the detention pond in accordance with the City’s Meade-Hawthorn Drainage Basin Plan as well as provide stormwater detention and water quality treatment.  Reimbursement for the oversize improvements may be requested after project completion and final acceptance by the City.   Final reimbursement payment shall be determined by actual installed costs of the improvements, and shall not exceed $91,254.20.
